Who may sell
The marketplace and shops are for accounts aged 18 and over. On the marketplace, members sell things privately. Pages can open a shop; that is the route for commercial traders.
Required details for shops
A page can only activate a shop once it has entered its trader details: name and address, email address, trade register and VAT number where applicable, plus its own terms, cancellation policy, privacy notice and shipping and payment details. These details are shown in the shop under “Seller”.
For purchases in a shop, the shop operator is your contracting party, not Friendstime. On the marketplace, buyer and seller make the contract directly with each other.
What may not be sold
Anything whose sale breaks the law is forbidden, as are goods that are dangerous for children and young people, counterfeit branded goods and products that have been recalled or are considered unsafe.
Reporting unsafe products
If you think a product on offer is dangerous, for example because it has been recalled, report it via “Report” on the listing or the report form with the reason “Unsafe product”. The team looks at such reports with priority.
If a product turns out to be dangerous, we take the listing down. If it was sold through Friendstime, we inform the buyers we know from the orders.
