Your link page: all your links at one address

One link in a profile is often not enough for your channel, shop, club and portfolio. That is why every Friendstime account can have its own link page, which people without an account can open too. Here is how to set it up and what the statistics show you afterwards.

Where to find the link page

In the browser the page is called “My links”, in the Android app “My link page”. Its address is friendsti.me/your-name; it can also be reached at friendsti.me/links/your-name. You can change the name as long as it is not taken or reserved. You do not need a website of your own.

Adding and ordering links

You add links with a title, address, icon and description; http, https and mailto addresses are allowed. Pin important links to the top, reorder the rest or group them into categories. On top of that come “About me” details, a design of your own and, if you like, a legal notice, for example if you are self-employed.

Sharing with a QR code

The app shows a QR code of the address. Put it on flyers, business cards or slides so others can open your page with their phone camera. Visitors do not need a Friendstime account to view the page. That way people reach all your links with one scan, without you having to pass on every address separately.

Statistics without names

You see views and clicks per day, the most-clicked links and the device types, but only as numbers, never as names. For counting, Friendstime stores technical details such as browser, device type, referring address and a hashed IP address. Friendstime only shows visitors the click count of a link if you allow it.

Visibility and search engines

You can switch the page off or set it to “not public”. As long as it contains no active link, Friendstime asks search engines not to index it; with at least one active link it may appear in search results. That way no empty page shows up under your name on Google.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need my own website for the link page?

No. The page is hosted by Friendstime and can be opened publicly, also by visitors without an account. You see the address in the page settings.

Can I see who clicks my links?

No, only numbers: views and clicks per day, the most-clicked links and the device types.

Can visitors without an account see my link page?

Yes, if it is switched on and public. You can switch it off or set it to “not public” at any time.

Which links are allowed?

Addresses starting with http, https and mailto. Each link gets a title and, if you like, an icon and a description.
