Wish list on your profile: share wishes, reserve gifts
Your wish list holds what you would be happy to receive – in the browser and in the Android app. Your confirmed friends see it on your profile and can reserve a wish so that nothing is given twice.
Add and arrange wishes
A wish needs a title of up to 120 characters; you can add a link and a note of up to 280 characters. The list holds up to 30 wishes, and “Move up” and “Move down” set the order. You can edit or remove a wish at any time.
Who sees your wish list
Only you and the people you are confirmed friends with can see the list. If there is a block between you, it stays hidden, and if “Who can see my profile?” is set to “Only me” in your privacy settings, your friends cannot see it either. The youth protection rules that apply to the profile apply here as well.
Reserve without spoiling the surprise
Your friends can reserve a wish and cancel the reservation again. Friendstime never shows you the reservations on your own list, and there is no notification about them. Other friends see that a wish is reserved so that nothing is bought twice; the name of the person is shown only if blocks, name settings and youth protection allow it.
Links open only after a confirmation
A link must start with http:// or https://, and the list shows only the name of the website. When you tap it, a confirmation shows the full address. Only then does the page open – in a new tab in the browser, outside Friendstime in the Android app.
What is stored
The wish list is stored on the Friendstime server so that it looks the same in the browser and in the app. Like other profile details, it is not end-to-end encrypted. Words blocked by the word filter cannot be saved.

Who can see my wish list?
Only you and your confirmed friends. If there is a block or your profile is set to “Only me”, the list stays hidden from friends as well.
Can I see who reserved something on my list?
No. Reservations are not shown to you, so the surprise is kept.
