Profile visitors
Profile visitors are people who have looked at your profile. Some networks show only numbers, others also names – it matters to know that beforehand.
What are profile visitors?
“Who viewed my profile?” is one of the most common questions about social networks. The answer depends on the service: some show only how often a profile was opened, others also name the visitors, and still others show nothing at all. Anyone who visits a profile should therefore know whether the visit can become visible to the other side.
What visitor numbers are good for
For anyone using a profile for work or as a project, visitor numbers are feedback: if a profile is opened more often after a post, the content is apparently landing. Private individuals can also use them to gauge how much attention their profile gets.
What to keep in mind
Be careful with apps and links that promise to reveal “secret profile visitors”: they are often scams that only want your login or payment details. What a network knows about visits it shows you at most in its own settings or statistics. Think about the other side as well: where visits are displayed by name, your own visit may reach the other person.
On Friendstime
On Friendstime the statistics are called “Insights”: in the browser via the “Insights” button on your own profile, in the app under “Profile insights”. You see the views today, in 7 and 30 days and in total, the number of different visitors in 30 days and a visitor list for the last 30 days with name, picture, number of visits and last visit. Only signed-in users are counted, never your own visit, and at most one entry per visitor and profile every 30 minutes. That also means: if you open another person's profile while signed in, you can show up in their visitor list.

Does a person see that I visited their profile?
If you are signed in, they can see you in their visitor list for the last 30 days on Friendstime. Visits without signing in are not counted, and your own profile never counts.
How long does Friendstime show visitors?
The visitor list shows the last 30 days. The view counters are also available for today, for 7 days and in total.
What does “different visitors” mean?
The number counts each signed-in person only once, even if they visited your profile several times in the last 30 days.
